SysAid
Helpdesk Software* lets end users submit service requests via
a simple, online form. Administrators can view, sort, search
through, and respond to these requests. The product includes
a knowledgebase, escalation rules, automatic notifications,
detailed reports, and many other features. It uses Email,
SMS, and IM to provide the most efficient methodology possible.

SysAid Asset Management*
automatically scans the organization's network and lists its
machines. It provides details on each machine (its hardware,
software, history, and more), and lets you remote control
it. Without ever leaving their office, IT managers can control
the entire organization's inventory. Includes reports, search
abilities, lists of software suppliers and catalog items,
and various other features.

All versions are available in English, French, German, Spanish,
Italian, or Hebrew.
*Available as an installed solution, or an online hosted solution.
For the installation
and operation of the product, the following are required:
On the server station:
OS – Windows: NT, 2K, XP, or 2003
CPU – 1x500 MHz
RAM – 512 Mb
Disk Space (for application) – 1Gb
Disk Space (for database) – 4 Mb for each end-user
On each end user's station:
Windows 9x or NT or 2k or XP.
On each administrator's station:
Any computer running a browser (Internet Explorer version 5+ or
Netscape version 6+).
On each station with remote control capabilities:
Windows 9x or Nt or 2k or XP
* The system's asset management will only detect and support
machines running the Windows OS. Macintosh machines can be added
manually.
SysAid can use one of the following databases: Oracle, Microsoft
SQL Server, IBM DB2, FireBird, MySQL, and Derby. The free version supports
only FireBird and Derby databases.
